The IFG Fund Replicator

For the first time Muslims can replicate the portfolios of top fund managers.

We’ve started with UK Small Cap, and there’s plenty more flavours to come.

How we did it

How does it work?

Once you checkout, you will be emailed your unique copy of the IFG Fund Replicator.

It’s a sharia-compliant list of 200+ UK small cap companies in which the top 5 funds have also invested in.

We’ve also highlighted the ones that we have personally invested in and broken the stocks down by industry to make it easier to navigate.

Once you’ve chosen the stocks you want to invest in, you’ll have your own little “mini-fund” and have exposure to the high-growth UK Small Cap market.

What does the backtested performance look like?

£2,500 invested on 1 March 2016 would have returned £43,058 (1722% return)*.

£2,500 invested on 1 March 2020 would have returned £3,853.75 (54% return)*.

Impressive returns – we too were pleasantly surprised!

Sharia Screening Methodology

Mufti Billal Omarjee has manually screened each stock. No automated screening.

Why the focus on UK Small Cap?

UK Small Cap companies means junior companies on the UK stock market. We like them because they offer a higher risk element to the stock market.

Investing in them whilst they are still relatively small can offer great upside. The FTSE AIM All Share Index (a small cap index) has grown by over 70% in the last 5 years compared to 7.5% growth in the FTSE100.

Will you be releasing more themes?

Yes – that’s the plan. We’ve started with UK Small Cap, but there’s plenty of other areas where lucrative haram funds exist e.g. US Small Cap, Global Small Cap and others, as well as sector-related themes such as Healthcare, Clean Energy and many more.

Is this a hands off approach?

No it isn’t completely hands-off but it isn’t completely DIY either.

You are working from a curated base of halal companies which 5 of the top UK Small Cap funds have invested in. This cuts through most of your work.

Why replicate funds?

When you want to invest in different “themes” within the stock market to give yourself some diversity, you can find top funds who specialise in a particular theme and who have amazing track records.

Unfortunately, most funds are not sharia-compliant. But with some work, they can be.

We do that work for you.

What is the cost?

We charge a simple subscription for access to this regularly-updated list (and all future lists as we add them):

1. £149.99 annual subscription

2. £999 lifetime subscription (no need to ever pay again).

How can I use the Replicator Stocks?

Approach 1

Buy every single stock (just over 200) in the list. If you are with a no/low commission broker, this is entirely possible. If you are with a broker who charges £10 per trade, you’ll need £100k+ starting capital so that the fees are not too big a proportion of your investment.

Approach 2

Copy our portfolio. We’ve personally invested in a selection of stocks and have shared it within the list.

Approach 3

Choose a selection of stocks from the list. The stocks are split up into categories according to the industry that the company operates in (e.g. “Software”). You can use that to shape your personal selection.
